Amazon Chili Pepper has the particularity of being harvested before it is fully ripe. This explains its yellow color, while most of its close cousins (like Cayenne pepper) are red!
This early harvest is intended to allow the Amazonian pepper to develop fruity and acidulous notes.
With a score around 50,000 on the Scoville scale (equivalent to 8/10), it is a strong chili, that combines spiciness and aromatic qualities.
The Amazon Chili Pepper can be used whole, in a sauce for example, before being removed, or can be crushed and fully incorporated into your preparations.
Our Amazon Chili Pepper comes in a 15 g / 30 g glass jar, or in a 250 g refill bag. Keep it in a dry and cool place, away from light. Chili peppers do not expire, but we recommend using them within 18 months to keep all the intensity of its flavors.
