    Our organic Ugandan vanilla comes from a Planifolia orchid, the same family as our Madagascar Bourbon vanilla. Its very high vanillin content, characteristic of Ugandan vanilla, gives the beans powerful vanilla, cocoa and wild notes, making it a must for cooks looking for new flavours. Its secret? A late harvest, and a slow maturing process, which allows the development of complex and intense aromas.
     
    The recent grow of the vanilla farming in Uganda has enabled our local partners to become fully involved in projects with high social value: creation of permanent jobs, education, training, fair and constant remuneration for small producers.
     
    Our vanilla beans from Uganda are offered in a unique size: 16 cm.
     
    They are packaged in a glass tube of 10 beans, or in a 100 or 250 gram vacuum-packed refill bag. Store your vanilla in a cool, dry place, away from light. Vanilla beans do not expire, but we recommend using them within 24 months to retain the full intensity of their flavour.
