Zaatar, sometimes spelled Zathar, meaning thyme in Arabic, is a spice blend inspired by the traditional flavors of the Middle East.

Our Zaatar mix consists of sumac, sesame seeds, thyme, and salt. This combination results in a rich and flavorful blend, with a hint of acidity, a crunchy texture, and herby notes.

CULINARY USE

The Zaatar mix is extremely versatile. You can use it right from the appetizer by incorporating it into your hummus, in a starter in your dressing, or as a main course, sprinkled on grilled vegetables or in your meat marinade.

Its unique flavor will bring a touch of originality and herbal freshness to your dishes or mezzé.
However, its most common use remains mixing it with a bit of olive oil and spreading it on Lebanese bread.
